US-Based HealthEdge Signs Major Lease With This Indian Real Estate Company for 1.62 Lakh Sq Ft; Share Price Rises 4%

On Thursday, the Nifty 50 traded higher, rising 158.30 points, or 0.66 per cent, to 24,236.60. Amid the market movement, Brigade Enterprises shares were trading at Rs 611.30, up Rs 23.60 or 4.02 per cent. The share price movement came after the company announced that Brigade Group has signed a lease agreement with HealthEdge, a US-headquartered healthcare technology company backed by Bain Capital, for approximately 1.62 lakh sq ft at Brigade Square in Thiruvananthapuram.

1.62 Lakh Sq Ft Leased to HealthEdge

Brigade Group has signed the lease agreement for approximately 1.62 lakh sq ft across 11 floors of Brigade Square, the group's first IT office building in Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. HealthEdge provides AI-powered software and technology-enabled services for healthcare plans, with its platform covering claims administration, payment accuracy, provider network management, care management and risk adjustment.

Brigade Square is a 2 lakh sq ft IT office building located in Technopark Phase 1 and has been designed to cater to technology-driven businesses. The latest lease agreement marks an important development in Brigade Group's expansion in Thiruvananthapuram and strengthens the city's positioning as a destination for global technology and healthcare companies.

Brigade Plans 2 Million Sq Ft World Trade Center

Brigade Group has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Kerala to develop a 2 million sq ft World Trade Center within Technopark Phase 1. Brigade Square will form part of this larger development, which the company expects to further strengthen its presence in Thiruvananthapuram and contribute to the city's commercial and technology ecosystem.
