Watch out for these penny stocks that are witnessing price and volume breakout!

Nifty oscillated in the range of 108 points and closed at fresh record highs on Monday. However, the broader markets continued underperforming as Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 declined by 0.34 per cent and 0.78 per cent, respectively.   

Even though the broader markets unperformed, the stock-specific action continued on D-Street as many of the penny stocks continued gaining transaction. In this segment of ours, we have come up with a list of stocks that have seen more than 100 per cent gain in the volume as compared to its prior trading session. Moreover, the stock close price was greater than its prior trading sessions.   

So, here is the list of stocks and it’s important to note that we have considered stocks that have volume in excess of 1,00,000.   

Stampede Capital: The stock was locked at an upper band on Monday and the volume activity was quite striking as more than 9 lakh shares were traded on NSE Exchange. This translates to more than 4,200 per cent surge in the volume when compared to its prior trading session.   

Ansal Properties & Infrastructure: The stock had gained more than 9 per cent on Monday while the volume witnessed spurt of nearly 198 per cent.   

Alankit: The stock has gained nearly 6 per cent on Monday with volume surge of 135 per cent.   

Visa Steel: The stock got locked at an upper circuit today while its volume also witnessed substantial rise i.e. a two-fold jump on Monday.   

Compucom Software: The stock was locked at an upper circuit on Monday and volume also witnessed a two-fold jump.
