Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.09 per cent at 84,482 and the Nifty-50 down 0.01 per cent at 25,816. About 1,629 shares have advanced, 2,509 shares have declined and 194 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,310 on November 27, 2025.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.05 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.28 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd, PB Fintech Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd, Gabriel India Ltd, Walchandnagar Industries Ltd and Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Power Index were the Top Losers.

As of December 18, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 466 lakh crore or USD 5.17 trillion. On the same day, 95 stocks hit a 52-week high while 276 stocks touched a 52-week low.
