Solar penny stock under Rs 40 hit lower circuit after receiving an order of Rs 1,04,00,000 from Jagdamba Enterprises Pvt Ltd

Agni Green Power Ltd has received a significant international work order from Jagdamba Enterprises Pvt Ltd in Nepal, valued at Rs 1,04,00,000. The contract is for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of grid grid-connected rooftop solar power plant at a site in Parsa, Nepal. This order, which is inclusive of all duties and taxes, marks the company's entry into the Nepalese market and is a notable expansion of its international footprint. The project is expected to be completed within four months from the date the order was received.

Earlier, the company received a domestic contract worth Rs 4,23,61,999 from Aquasub Engineering Unit V – Foundry, located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The order is for the comprehensive design, supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of a grid-connected rooftop solar power plant. This project, which includes all duties and taxes, is to be executed within four months from the date the order was received.

Incorporated in 1995, Agni Green Power Limited is engaged in the business of executing turn-key solar PV power plant projects. The company has two lines of business, including solar power plant designing, engineering, supply, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (I&C), maintenance services, manufacturing and assembling of solar lighting systems, and other solar products.

Talking about the financials, Agni Green Power has a market cap of Rs 47 crore. According to half-yearly results, the net sales increased by 19 per cent to Rs 24.93 crore and net profit increased by 74 per cent to Rs 0.47 crore in H2FY25 compared to H2FY24. As of March 2025, the promoters own a 70.57 per cent stake in the company and the rest 29.43 per cent stake is owned by the general public.

On Friday, shares of Agni Green Power Ltd hit a 5 per cent lower circuit to Rs 34.25 per share from its previous closing of Rs 36.05 per share. The stock’s 52-week high is Rs 54.70 per share and its 52-week low is Rs 17.90 per share. The stock is up over 90 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 17.90 per share.
