RNIT AI Solutions Secures Landmark GenAI Contract in Andhra Pradesh

RNIT AI Solutions Limited has been awarded a Notification of Award (NoA) by Andhra Pradesh Technology Services Limited (APTS) to implement a first-of-its-kind Generative AI solution for the state's skill development ecosystem. As the L1 bidder in a competitive process, RNIT will design and integrate an AI-based multilingual Interview and job-preparation platform for the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). This platform will be a core component of the Naipunyam Unified Skill Development Portal, aiming to enhance large-scale employability through cutting-edge technology.
The project centers on the deployment of RNIT’s proprietary "NIA" Conversational GenAI engine suite. This sophisticated toolkit features multilingual AI agents, automated interview simulations, and real-time feedback mechanisms designed to identify and bridge skill gaps for candidates. By utilising advanced GenAI algorithms for assesSMEnt and readiness, the initiative provides a scalable, automated approach to workforce preparation, marking a significant milestone for government-scale AI adoption in India.
Financially, the contract follows a usage-linked SaaS model with a pay-per-minute structure. The commercial consideration is organised into four tiers, starting with an initial Tier-1 value of up to Rs 50 lakh and potentially scaling beyond Rs 50 crore in Tier-4 based on platform adoption. RNIT is currently finalising formal contract execution and performance security submissions, positioning the company as a leading partner for high-margin, AI-driven public sector transformations.
