On Thursday, Indian equity benchmark indices traded lower, with the Nifty 50 declining 0.26 per cent to 24,145.55. In contrast, Skipper share price gained 2.70 per cent to Rs 562.00 following the company's announcement of fresh orders worth Rs 1,305 crore across domestic and international power transmission and distribution projects.

Skipper Secures Rs 1,305 Crore Orders

Skipper Limited has received new orders aggregating to Rs 1,305 crore for several power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects across India and international markets. The company made the announcement through a stock exchange filing dated August 27, 2026.

The newly secured business includes the supply of transmission towers and monopoles for T&D projects in North American markets. In the domestic market, the company has also secured two 765 kV transmission line projects from a reputed domestic developer.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the order win, Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper Limited, said the Rs 1,305 crore order inflow across domestic and international markets reflects the company's execution capabilities, technical expertise and growing customer confidence.

He further highlighted renewed momentum in the company's export business, particularly in developed markets. Accordingto the management, the order mix strengthens Skipper's diversified T&D portfolio and reinforces its position as a partner for complex power infrastructure projects across different geographies.

The company expects the momentum in transmission infrastructure, grid expansion and renewable energy integration to support further opportunities in India and overseas markets. Management stated that Skipper remains focused on disciplined project selection, efficient execution and maintaining a balanced domestic and international business mix.
