Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.14 per cent at 84,560 and the Nifty-50 down 0.16 per cent at 25,819. About 1,473 shares have advanced, 2,694 shares have declined and 161 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,310 on November 27, 2025.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.53 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.85 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indraprastha Gas Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd, Bank of India and APL Apollo Tubes Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Apex Frozen Foods Ltd, Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd, Roto Pumps Ltd and Denta Water & Infra Solutions Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.

As of December 17, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 466 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion. On the same day, 94 stocks hit a 52-week high while 196 stocks touched a 52-week low.
