Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 103 points or 0.13 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals slipped by 0.73 per cent, power plunged by 1.24 per cent, and auto surged by 0.38 per cent.

Meanwhile, Sun TV Network Ltd, Mphasis Ltd and Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Sun TV Network Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.56 per cent to trade at Rs 623.90 apiece. The company reported a 2.8 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 364.59 crore in Q2 FY2026-27, while revenue declined 27.7 per cent to Rs 940.31 crore. The company also declared an interim Dividend of Rs 3.75 per share.

Mphasis Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.41 per cent to trade at Rs 2,626.00 apiece. The company reported a 17.4 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to Rs 4,580.93 crore and a 19.6 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 561.13 crore in Q2 FY2026-27. The company also secured new deal wins worth US$466 million during the quarter, with 66 per cent of the total contract value coming from AI-led deals.

Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.31 per cent to trade at Rs 1,315.00 apiece. The company reported a 23.21 per cent year-on-year increase in total income to Rs 548.02 crore and a 9.09 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 82.09 crore in Q2 FY2026-27.
