Indian capital markets remained flat after the scintillating rally on Wednesday. The markets took a pause and ended on a slightly negative note.
Indian capital markets remained flat after the scintillating rally on Wednesday. The markets took a pause and ended on a slightly negative note. Nifty was able to sustain the level of 9000.
Indian markets traded weak and at the closing bell, Nifty ended at 9084, with loss of 2 points and BSE Sensex closed at 29398 with reduction of 44 points. On the NSE, 25 shares closed in the green, while 25 shares ended the day in the red and one remained unchanged.
All indices closed in the green, except IT and Oil & Gas. Auto increased 156 points. Bankex rose 68 points. IT reduced 191 points and Oil & Gas also declined 4 points. Mid-cap and Small-cap indices increased 143 points and 91 points, respectively.
Asian markets traded mixed on Wednesday. Shanghai increased 0.08 per cent, Hang Seng declined 0.15 per cent, while Nikkei reduced 0.16 per cent. European markets were also trading mixed.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty Future closed positive at 9104. Going ahead, 9168/9016 will be the immediate support levels.
