Reacting to the news about the board of directors of Oricon Enterprises approving the sale and transfer of the Toyota dealership business to Madhuban Motors for a consideration of Rs 28.35 crores, the company’s stock shot up by more than 4% during Thursday’s trading session.
Oricon Enterprises was trading at Rs 60.35 per share, up by Rs 2.55 or 4.41% as at 0938 hours on Thursday, on the BSE. The stock attracted a traded volume of 1,54,831 shares and traded value of Rs 91.88 lakhs on the NSE. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing of pentanes, liquid colourants and pet bottles. Its segments include logistics, automobiles, packaging, real estate, petrochemicals, trading, etc.
