Low liquidity stocks that bucked the market trend

The BSE Sensex slid by ~2.9% over the last week to touch 31,471 by afternoon yesterday. The low earnings growth and the two 'bombs' of demonetisation and GST led to uncertainty in the economic environment. The wordy duels between the US president and the North Korean regime and the heightened fears of escalating tensions between the two countries led the FIIs to change gears and exit emerging markets such as India. 

However, we see that some stocks with low liquidity (XD – group), bucked this trend and provided handsome returns to the investors. 

Acme Resources provides services of loans and advances, share trading and trading in properties and securities. The stock soared by 39% over the last week. Shri Krishna Devcon, a company in real estate development in both residential and commercial spaces, provided returns of 27.2% over the last week. White Organics provides organic farm produce and is fully backward-integrated and undertakes seed research, land acquisition, farming and cultivation, distribution and retails including exports.
