Arvind dips 7% on Q2 results

Total sales for this quarter, Q2FY18, came in at Rs. 2,628.5 crore. This represents a 6.2 per cent sequential increase and 12.76 per cent YoY increase.
India's leading denim maker, Arvind Limited reported results for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 during market hours on Wednesday.
Total sales for this quarter, Q2FY18, came in at Rs. 2,628.5 crore. This represents a 6.2 per cent sequential increase and 12.76 per cent YoY increase.
Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter stood at Rs. 212.3 crore and the EBIT margin was 8.08 per cent.
In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT figure of Rs. 64.5 crore which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 13.66 per cent and a YoY decline of 17.61 per cent.
The stock of Arvind Limited opened for trade at Rs. 456 per share on the BSE on Wednesday, down by 6.67 per cent after the results were declared and is currently trading around the Rs. 424.6 mark.
