Bulls Enjoy Upper Hand, Bankex Moves Up

The  Indian markets are trading positive in the afternoon session. Currently, the Nifty is at 5757, up by 58 points and Sensex is trading higher by 187 points at 19,060. Both the indices are trading with a positive note of 1.01%-0.97%.

The advance-decline ratio, which indicates the health of stands, is positive in the afternoon session. On the NSE, 889 shares are trading up and 512 shares are trading down.

Top 5 NSE Gainers: Tata Motors, HCL Technologies, JP Associates are holding their morning gains, followed by Hindalco and Jindal Steel.

Top 5 NSE Losers: Bharti Airtel is the top loser on NSE, trading lower by 1.5%, followed by Bajaj Auto, BPCL, ITC, and NTPC.

On the sectoral front, 12 out of 13 sectors are trading firm at this hour of trade. Banks and Metals are trading up in the range 0.97%-0.85%. Capital Goods and Oil & Gas are also gaining some profits in the afternoon trading session and are up between 0.57%-1%.

All the Asian markets are trading in green. Hang Seng is trading positive by 92 points, Taiwan Weighted is positive by 65 points, Shanghai Composite is positive by 51 points and Nikkei 225 is positive by 31 points in the afternoon session.

Buzzers: Tata Motors is up by 3.8% and is trading at Rs 301. The stock is holding its morning gains and trading with good volumes.

HCL Technologies is trading up by 3.7% at Rs 743. The stock opened at Rs 718 and registered a high of Rs 745. It has been gaining more volumes.

The Nifty has seen positive trades in the afternoon session. Going ahead, the levels of 5780-5800 will be eyed by traders. Above these levels, Nifty may take a positive move.
