Piramal Pharma Q1 FY27 Results

Piramal Pharma reported a healthy financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Consolidated revenue from operations increased 17 per cent YoY to Rs 2,270 crore from Rs 1,934 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income also rose 18 per cent YoY to Rs 2,359 crore.

EBITDA registered strong growth of 72 per cent YoY to Rs 285 crore from Rs 165 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded by around 400 basis points to 12.5 per cent from 8.5 per cent in Q1 FY26. Net loss before exceptional items narrowed to Rs 69 crore from Rs 102 crore, while net loss after exceptional items improved to Rs 69 crore compared with Rs 82 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Segment Performance

The company's CDMO business delivered revenue of Rs 1,187 crore, registering 19 per cent YoY growth, supported by healthy order inflows, improved request-for-proposal (RFP) activity, enhanced commercial capabilities and strong execution across its global manufacturing network. The company also maintained its Zero Official Action Indicated (OAI) quality record after its Sellersville facility in the US received an Establishment Inspection Report from the US FDA.

The Complex Hospital Generics (CHG) business reported revenue of Rs 743 crore, up 17 per cent YoY. The company retained its leadership in the US Sevoflurane market with a 48 per cent value share, maintained the number one position in the US intrathecal Baclofen market and expects supplies of Kenalog to begin from Q2 FY27.

The Consumer Healthcare (PCH) business posted revenue of Rs 347 crore, up 15 per cent YoY. Power Brands grew 23 per cent, contributing 53 per cent of consumer healthcare sales, while the e-commerce business expanded 40 per cent YoY, accounting for 28 per cent of sales. The company also continued to invest around 12 per cent of PCH sales towards media and brand promotion while expanding its distribution network.
