Shivalik Bimetal Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations increased 33.4 per cent YoY to Rs 182.2 crore from Rs 136.6 crore in Q1 FY26. Gross profit rose 29.8 per cent to Rs 79.1 crore, while EBITDA increased 35.2 per cent to Rs 43.2 crore from Rs 32 crore.

The company's EBITDA margin improved by 33 basis points to 23.7 per cent, while profit before tax (PBT) rose 44.2 per cent YoY to Rs 43.8 crore. Profit after tax (PAT) increased 44.9 per cent to Rs 33 crore from Rs 22.8 crore, with PAT margin expanding by 144 basis points to 18.1 per cent. On a sequential basis, revenue, EBITDA and PAT grew 12 per cent, 21.8 per cent and 26.3 per cent, respectively.

Operational Highlights

On a standalone basis, revenue grew 13 per cent to Rs 131.8 crore, while EBITDA increased 23 per cent to Rs 36.3 crore and PAT rose 25.8 per cent to Rs 26.4 crore. The company's gross margin expanded by 355 basis points to 51.5 per cent, while EBITDA margin improved by 225 basis points to 27.5 per cent, driven by stronger product realisations and an improved customer mix.

During the quarter, Shunt Resistors revenue increased 18.7 per cent to Rs 68.2 crore, while Thermostatic Bimetals revenue rose 7.4 per cent to Rs 63.6 crore. Revenue from India increased 26.4 per cent to Rs 60.8 crore, while Europe registered 21.5 per cent growth, supported by a 72.2 per cent increase in shunt revenues.

Shivalik Bimetal Pune Facility Receives Consent to Operate

Subsequent to the quarter-end, the company received Consent to Operate from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board for Phase I of its Pune manufacturing facility, with the approval remaining valid until June 30, 2032. The facility will manufacture value-added components and assemblies for automotive electrification and battery-related applications, including Cell Connecting Systems, busbar connectors and PCBA assemblies.

Management Update

The company also informed that Rajeev Ranjan, Chief Financial Officer, has tendered his resignation due to personal reasons and will step down from the close of business on October 31, 2026. The company said it will ensure an orderly transition while maintaining continuity across its finance and regulatory functions.
