Adani Enterprises Share Price Jumps 5%: Here’s Why

AI Powered Summary

Adani Enterprises' share price gained close to 5 per cent and is trading at Rs 1,845.10 as of 11:15 am on April 1, 2026. The stock touched an Intraday high of Rs 1,864.60 and a low of Rs 1,803.80. It has recorded a 52-week high of Rs 2616.50 and a 52-week low of Rs 1753.00. The company’s market capitalisation stands at around Rs. 2,10,000 crore.

The stock movement comes after the company informed exchanges about the divestment of its entire 50 per cent stake in Vishakha Industries Private Limited (VIPL) by its wholly owned subsidiary, Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL). The transaction was completed on March 31, 2026. As part of the deal, Adani Properties Private Limited (APPL), which belongs to the promoter group of Adani Enterprises, has acquired the 50 per cent stake in VIPL. Following this transaction, VIPL has ceased to be an associate company of AAHL, while APPL now holds a 50 per cent stake in the entity.

The company received a consideration of Rs 13.27 crore for the stake sale of 1,46,68,565 shares in VIPL. The transaction has been carried out at arm’s length, in line with regulatory requirements. From a financial perspective, VIPL had reported revenue from operations of Rs 71.29 lakhs and a net worth of Rs 544.20 lakhs as of March 31, 2025. The relatively small size of the associate company suggests that the divestment may not have a material financial impact on Adani Enterprises but indicates a possible restructuring or streamlining of business interests within the group.
