Adani Enterprises Q1 FY27 Results

Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL), the flagship company of the Adani Group, reported consolidated total income of Rs 33,546 crore for Q1 FY27, registering a 50 per cent year-on-year growth from Rs 22,437 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA rose 49 per cent YoY to a record Rs 5,642 crore, marking the company's highest-ever quarterly EBITDA.

Profit Before Tax (excluding the OFAC settlement impact) stood at Rs 1,295 crore. However, the company reported a net loss of Rs 1,160 crore attributable to shareholders due to an exceptional charge of Rs 2,644 crore related to the OFAC settlement during the quarter.

Airports and Copper Businesses Drive Growth

The Airports business continued to deliver strong growth, with total income rising 39 per cent YoY to Rs 3,763 crore, while EBITDA increased 49 per cent to Rs 1,633 crore. Passenger traffic reached 24.2 million, air traffic movements increased 4 per cent, and cargo volumes grew 7 per cent during the quarter.

The Copper business recorded a sharp ramp-up, with sales increasing 4.6 times to 64.7 KT, contributing Rs 749 crore in EBITDA compared with a loss in the corresponding quarter last year as capacity utilisation improved to around 52 per cent.

Key Operational Milestones

During the quarter, Adani New Industries commissioned an additional 1.7 GW Solar module line, increasing total module manufacturing capacity to 5.7 GW.

The Data Center business secured a new 400 MW hyperscale order in Vizag, taking cumulative tied-up capacity to more than 960 MW, while operational capacity increased following the handover of Phase II at the Pune facility.

The company also commenced international flight operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport from July 15, 2026, while toll collection began on the Ganga Expressway from May 15, 2026, marking key milestones across its infrastructure portfolio.

Capital Raising and Business Updates

Adani Enterprises successfully completed India's largest Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) by a non-financial corporate, raising Rs 15,000 crore in July 2026. The issue received subscriptions worth 3.8 times the base issue size, reflecting strong participation from domestic Mutual Funds and global institutional investors.

The company also operationalised the Dhirauli mining service contract in Madhya Pradesh, taking its operational mining service contracts' peak capacity to 93.1 MMTPA.
