Zen Technologies Secures Rs 177.5 Crore Defence Order

Zen Technologies informed the stock exchanges that it has received an order worth Rs 177.5 crore (including GST) from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The contract relates to the upgradation and integration of Tank and Crew Gunnery Simulators, which are used for training armoured vehicle crews in realistic combat scenarios.

The company stated that the order will be executed within one year. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, and the scope includes upgrading existing simulator infrastructure and integrating advanced training capabilities for tank and crew gunnery systems.

According to the exchange filing, the order has been awarded by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India under a domestic contract. The total consideration is Rs 177.5 crore (including GST).

The company also clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding authority, and the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
