AU Small Finance Bank informed exchanges that it collaborated with Intellect Design Arena and adopted its Purple Fabric platform, described by the company as the world’s first Open Business Impact AI platform. Through this collaboration, the bank aims to accelerate its journey towards becoming an AI-first bank and build a scalable technology-led banking franchise powered by enterprise-wide intelligence.
The bank stated that the engagement marks a milestone in enterprise AI adoption in Indian banking by combining AU Small Finance Bank’s AI-first strategy with Intellect Design Arena’s AI-first banking capabilities to deliver enterprise-wide intelligence at scale.

AI Integration And Banking Operations
According to the filing, AU Small Finance Bank operates through more than 2,790 banking touchpoints across 21 states and 4 Union Territories, serving over 1.2 crore customers. The bank stated that it is embedding AI-driven intelligence across customer journeys, operations and decision-making processes.
Under the collaboration, the bank will leverage PF Credit agents, AI-powered decision engines capable of analysing customer data in real time, automating credit assessments and enabling faster lending decisions.
The Purple Fabric platform will also enable the bank to build domain-specific AI agents across business functions, process unstructured enterprise data and integrate with existing technological ecosystems.
