Bajaj Auto Limited recorded total sales of 4,45,377 units in March 2026, a 20 per cent increase compared to 3,69,823 units in March 2025. Growth was consistent across both domestic and export markets and across both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.
Two-Wheeler Sales
Two-wheeler domestic sales came in at 2,21,021 units, up 20 per cent from 1,83,659 units in March 2025. Two-wheeler exports stood at 1,59,452 units, up 21 per cent from 1,32,073 units in the same period last year. Total two-wheeler sales for the month were 3,80,473 units compared to 3,15,732 units, a 21 per cent increase year on year.
Commercial Vehicle Sales
Commercial vehicle domestic sales were 45,269 units, up 20 per cent from 37,815 units in March 2025. Commercial vehicle exports came in at 19,635 units, up 21 per cent from 16,276 units. Total commercial vehicle sales for the month stood at 64,904 units against 54,091 units, a 20 per cent increase year on year.
Full Year FY26 Performance
For the full financial year April 2025 to March 2026, Bajaj Auto recorded total sales of 51,17,667 units, a 10 per cent increase over 46,50,966 units in FY25. Two-wheeler full-year sales were 43,16,850 units, up 8 per cent from 39,82,309 units. Within this, domestic two-wheeler sales grew modestly by 2 per cent to 23,49,040 units, while two-wheeler exports saw stronger growth of 18 per cent, reaching 19,67,810 units.
Commercial vehicle full-year sales were 8,00,817 units, up 20 per cent from 6,68,657 units. Commercial vehicle domestic sales grew 8 per cent to 5,18,444 units, while commercial vehicle exports delivered a sharp 49 per cent increase to 2,82,373 units compared to 1,89,221 units in FY25. Total domestic sales for FY26 stood at 28,67,484 units, up 3 per cent, while total exports for the full year were 22,50,183 units, up 21 per cent from 18,63,281 units in FY25. The strong export performance across both segments has been a defining feature of Bajaj Auto's FY26 numbers.
