On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.66 per cent, power zoomed by 0.37 per cent, and auto surged by 0.13 per cent.

Meanwhile, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd and APL Apollo Tubes Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.88 per cent to trade at Rs 1,739.95 apiece. The company recently received USFDA final approval for Perampanel tablets and has also completed the acquisition of A1 Biochem Labs LLC through its subsidiary Apitoria Pharma, supporting positive sentiment around the stock.

FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.81 per cent to trade at Rs 335.50 apiece. Nykaa expects consolidated net revenue growth in the late twenties in Q2 FY27, while GMV growth is expected to be in the high twenties; the company also added 14 net new stores during the quarter.

APL Apollo Tubes Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.50 per cent to trade at Rs 2,194.05 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
