CG Power and partners install offshore transmission substation in Germany

Avantha Group Company's subsidiary, CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited along with its consortium partners installed its largest ever Offshore Transmission Substation through its wholly-owned subsidiary in Belgium.

The Transmission Substation project included overall electrical transmission design, manufacturing, installation to commissioning and energization of all main Power Transformers, High & Medium Voltage Equipment and Control and Protection Systems for the Electrical Transmission Platform.

The Hohe See Wind Farm in Germany is the biggest planned offshore wind project in Germany with 71 turbines with a total capacity of 497 MW. It can generate approximately 2 billion kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity per year, adequate enough to power 5,60,000 households and reduce CO₂ emissions by over 1.5 million tons per year.

Meanwhile, the stock on Monday recorded intraday high of Rs. 61.90 per share and intraday low of Rs. 59.25 per share. The stock closed at Rs. 59.45 per share, down by 1 per cent. Nifty50 closed at 10,852 level, up by 0.74 and BSE Sensex closed at 35,934.72, up by 0.78 per cent.
