The domestic equity markets commenced Monday's trading session on a positive note, supported by buying interest in the financial and IT stocks.

BSE IT index has been trading in an upward trajectory during the last one month, gaining 7.4 per cent. The IT index has outperformed the equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, which zoomed 4.10 per cent & 3.98 per cent, respectively in the past month.  

The IT stocks have rallied and delivered returns from 51 per cent to 176 per cent in just a month. Out of the 14 top gainers, three stocks have doubled the wealth namely, Cressanda Solutions, Continental Chemicals, and Megri Soft. The small-cap stock, Cressenda Solutions has turned into a multi-bagger as it rewarded investors, a return of 1,007.14 per cent in 2021, so far! It is greater than the 968.97 per cent returns gained in the past one year.
