Five stocks witnessing short covering

These are the stocks where sell positions are being covered in the F&O segment.

The Indian markets opened in green on Wednesday but soon after that, both Sensex and Nifty were seen trading in the red zone, down by 0.16 per cent each. Sensex was trading at 58,189.04 while Nifty was at 17,334.80.

Kotak Mahindra Bank, State Bank of India, and NTPC emerged as the top three gainers, which were up by 1.34 per cent, 1.01 per cent & 0.98 per cent, respectively. Meanwhile, the top losers included Nestle, TCS, and Maruti, which plunged 2.45 per cent, 1.30 per cent & 1.23 per cent, respectively.
