Park Medi World Announces Incorporation of Step-Down Subsidiary

Park Medi World informed that its subsidiary, Park Medicenters & Institutions Private, in its board meeting held on May 4, 2026, approved the incorporation of a wholly-owned subsidiary under the proposed name “Healplus Medical Services Private ” or “Healplus Healthcare Private ”, or such other name as may be approved by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

The proposed entity will be incorporated in India and will operate in the healthcare services segment. Since the new company will be wholly owned by Park Medicenters & Institutions Private Ltd, it will become a step-down subsidiary of Park Medi World. The investment towards incorporation will be made through cash consideration of Rs 0.01 crore by Park Medi, along with its nominee.

The company currently holds 81.81 per cent equity shareholding in Park Medicenters, thereby retaining effective control over the newly proposed healthcare subsidiary as well. The filing stated that the proposed company will undertake healthcare and ancillary services as part of the group’s expansion into broader medical service offerings.

Expansion of Integrated Healthcare Presence

The incorporation of a new healthcare-focused subsidiary comes as part of Park Medi World’s broader strategy of expanding its institutional healthcare footprint through dedicated entities for specialised service delivery. Through its hospital network and associated healthcare infrastructure businesses, the company has been strengthening its operational presence across secondary and tertiary care services.

The new proposed Healplus entity is expected to support healthcare and allied service operations under a separate corporate structure, enabling the group to widen its medical offerings, service integration and ancillary healthcare business opportunities under the Park Hospitals ecosystem.
