Ather Energy reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,216.92 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 644.58 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering an 88.79 per cent YoY growth.

The company's total income increased to Rs 1,259.65 crore from Rs 672.91 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting an 87.20 per cent YoY growth.

The company reported a net loss of Rs 51.09 crore during the quarter, significantly lower than the loss of Rs 178.23 crore reported in the same period last year, representing a 71.33 per cent reduction in losses on a year-on-year basis.

Ather Energy Board Approves ESOP Allotment and Fresh Grant

The Board approved the allotment of 3,67,875 equity shares of face value Rs 1 each to eligible employees who exercised their stock options under the Ather Energy ESOP 2025 Plan. These shares will rank pari passu with the company's existing equity shares.

Additionally, the Board approved the grant of 80,223 employee stock options (ESOPs) under the Ather Energy ESOP 2025 Plan to eligible employees. Each vested option will entitle the holder to subscribe to one equity share at an exercise price of Rs 1 per option, with an exercise period of five years from the date of vesting.

Ather Energy Recent Corporate Developments

During the quarter, Ather Energy incorporated its wholly owned subsidiary, Ather Insurance Limited, which is expected to operate as a corporate agent for insurance products after obtaining approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI). The company said the subsidiary is intended to streamline insurance offerings, enhance customer experience and create an additional recurring revenue stream.

The company also disclosed that, subsequent to the quarter, it completed a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) raising Rs 1,300 crore through the allotment of 1.08 crore equity shares at an issue price of Rs 1,202 per share. Further, the Board had earlier approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 1,200 crore through a preferential issue comprising equity shares and convertible warrants, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
