According to the fund house, a lump sum investment of Rs 10 lakh made at the time of the scheme's inception would have grown to approximately Rs 19.61 lakh as of June 30, 2026, delivering a CAGR of 14.55 per cent. In comparison, a similar investment in the scheme's benchmark, BSE 500 TRI, would have grown to Rs 17.44 lakh, translating into a CAGR of 11.88 per cent.

For SIP investors, a monthly investment of Rs 10,000 since inception, amounting to a total investment of Rs 6 lakh, would have grown to around Rs 8.47 lakh as of June 30, 2026, delivering a CAGR of 13.83 per cent. The benchmark generated a CAGR of 10.43 per cent over the same period.

Management Commentary

Rajat Chandak, Senior Fund Manager at ICICI Prudential AMC, said the fund has remained committed to identifying quality businesses through bottom-up research, backing strong management teams and investing with a long-term perspective. He added that rather than making tactical cash calls, the focus has been on owning businesses with sustainable growth potential and remaining invested through market cycles. According to him, disciplined stock selection and adherence to the investment framework have been key contributors to the fund's performance over the past five years.

Portfolio Positioning

The fund house said around 60–65 per cent of the portfolio is allocated to growth-oriented businesses, while 30–35 per cent is invested in contra and cyclical opportunities. As of June 30, 2026, the portfolio remained largely tilted towards consumption-oriented sectors, including retail, consumer discretionary, automobiles and Banking.
