India’s Largest Railway Infra Company Reports Q4FY26 Results; PAT Declines 59%, Recommends Rs 0.71 Per Share Dividend As Stock Falls 3% On Tuesday

RVNL Q4FY26 Performance
RVNL reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 6,696 crore during Q4FY26 as against Rs 6,427 crore reported in Q4FY25, registering a growth of around 4.2 per cent YoY.
Operating profit during the quarter stood at Rs 269 crore compared to Rs 433 crore reported in Q4FY25, reflecting a decline of around 37.9 per cent YoY. Operating profit margin (OPM) declined to 4 per cent during Q4FY26 from 7 per cent reported in the corresponding quarter previous year.
Profit before Tax (PBT) came in at Rs 250 crore during Q4FY26 compared to Rs 543 crore reported in Q4FY25, reflecting a decline of around 54 per cent YoY.
Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 182 crore as against Rs 455 crore reported in Q4FY25, marking a decline of around 59 per cent YoY. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 0.90 during the quarter compared to Rs 2.18 reported in the year-ago period.
RVNL FY26 Performance
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, RVNL reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 20,412 crore compared to Rs 19,923 crore reported in FY25, registering a growth of around 2.5 per cent YoY.
Operating profit for FY26 stood at Rs 767 crore compared to Rs 1,125 crore reported in FY25, while operating margins declined to 4 per cent from 6 per cent reported in the previous financial year.
Profit before tax during FY26 came in at Rs 1,181 crore compared to Rs 1,650 crore reported in FY25, reflecting a decline of around 28.4 per cent YoY.
Net profit for FY26 stood at Rs 871 crore as against Rs 1,282 crore reported in FY25, registering a decline of around 32 per cent YoY. EPS for FY26 stood at Rs 4.20 compared to Rs 6.15 reported in FY25.
Dividend Announcement
The Board of Directors of RVNL recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.71 per equity share of face value Rs 10 each for FY26, subject to shareholders’ approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The company stated that the final dividend, if approved by shareholders, will be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration at the AGM.
Operational Highlights
Other income during FY26 stood at Rs 869 crore, while finance costs came in at Rs 419 crore. Depreciation expenses during the financial year stood at Rs 36 crore.
The company continued to execute railway infrastructure, electrification and metro-related projects across India during the financial year.
