KNR Constructions Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on 27th March 2026 for the construction of 4-laning of NH-167 from Gudebellur at Design Km 182+930 to Mahabubnagar at Design Km 262+940 of the Hyderabad–Panaji Section, covering a total length of 80.01 km under NH(O) in the state of Telangana. The project is valued at Rs 1,734 crore and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), a public-private partnership model where the government pays 40 per cent of the project cost during construction, and the remaining amount is recovered by the company through regular annuity payments over a period of 15 years after completion.
The construction is to be completed within 730 days (approximately 2 years), following which KNR Constructions will be responsible for operating and maintaining the highway for 15 years from the Commercial Operation Date (COD). The disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The project forms part of the strategically important Hyderabad–Panaji national highway corridor, and its completion will significantly improve road connectivity across the Telangana region, easing traffic movement and boosting regional economic activity.
