Microsoft 365 Copilot Deployment Across 1.4 Lakh Employees

LTM announced that it is spearheading the enterprise-wide deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot for approximately 1.4 lakh employees across the L&T Group. The initiative is aimed at embedding generative AI into day-to-day operations and represents one of India's largest enterprise AI workplace transformation programmes.

The company said it has already demonstrated measurable business outcomes through its AI initiatives. Its AI-powered assistant, RAIma, has improved IT and HR query resolution by 70 per cent, while increasing employee engagement and HR productivity by 15 per cent. More than 23,000 developers across the group currently use AI tools daily, supported by a network of over 1,300 AI experts and enablement leads.

AI Solutions to Improve Productivity

As part of the rollout, LTM will deploy two Microsoft 365 Copilot-supported solutions.

The first is Agent A.S.K. (Agent for Stories and Knowledge), a conversational AI solution designed to help sales teams accelerate content creation by reusing existing knowledge and sales material. The second is RAIma, an AI-powered HR assistant that provides personalised support through chat and voice, enabling faster responses to employee queries.

The company said these solutions are expected to improve collaboration, streamline workflows, accelerate decision-making and enhance overall productivity across the organisation.

Driving Enterprise-Wide AI Adoption

According to LTM, the deployment reflects the L&T Group's strategy of integrating artificial intelligence into core business operations while ensuring responsible AI adoption through governance frameworks covering security, privacy, compliance and ethical AI usage.

The company added that over 90 per cent of its workforce has already been trained in Generative AI, with AI being embedded across functions including onboarding, learning, delivery, sales and customer support.
