Q1 Revenue Up 15.5%
The buying interest came after LG Electronics India Ltd reported a strong performance for the first quarter of FY27. Revenue from operations increased 15.5 per cent year-on-year to Rs 7,233 crore, supported by premium demand across categories. Profit after Tax (PAT) rose 27.2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 653 crore.
The company reported double-digit growth across all its major categories. Strong summer demand for air conditioners and refrigerators, along with continued demand for premium products, supported the overall performance.
Home Entertainment Segment Leads Growth
The Home Entertainment segment delivered the strongest performance during the quarter. Revenue from the segment increased 22.3 per cent to Rs 1,657 crore, driven by strong demand for large-screen and premium televisions. The segment also reported a sharp improvement in profitability. Its EBIT margin expanded by 336 basis points to 19.0 per cent.
Home Appliances and Air Solutions See Double-Digit Growth
The Home Appliances & Air Solution segment also reported healthy growth during the quarter.
Revenue increased 13.6 per cent to Rs 5,577 crore, helped by peak summer demand and premium upgrades. EBIT increased 13.8 per cent to Rs 642 crore.
Demand for air conditioners and refrigerators remained strong during the summer season, supporting both revenue and operating performance.
FII Stake Rises in LG Electronics India
Foreign institutional investors also increased their holding in LG Electronics India Ltd.
FII stake in the company rose to 3.13 per cent in June 2026, compared with 2.73 per cent in March 2026.
