OFSS Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

Oracle Financial Services Software reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 3,125.2 crore in Q1 FY27, registering a 68.73 per cent YoY increase from Rs 1,852.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income increased 66.41 per cent YoY to Rs 3,202.8 crore from Rs 1,924.7 crore.

Profit before Tax (PBT) surged 114.13 per cent YoY to Rs 1,938.7 crore, compared with Rs 905.4 crore in Q1 FY26. Consolidated net profit after tax jumped 120.52 per cent YoY to Rs 1,415.5 crore from Rs 641.9 crore in the year-ago period. Basic earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 162.59 from Rs 73.88 a year earlier.

Key Business Highlights

During the quarter, the company agreed with an existing customer for licensing software products, transfer of personnel and transition services. As a result, OFSS recognised licence revenue of Rs 935.3 crore and other income of Rs 19.1 crore.

Employee benefit expenses for the quarter included employee severance costs of Rs 178.2 crore. The company also allotted 37,006 equity shares under its Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP).

Segment Performance

Revenue from the Product Licenses and Related Activities segment increased 75.35 per cent YoY to Rs 2,935.8 crore from Rs 1,674.3 crore, while IT Solutions and Consulting Services revenue rose 6.46 per cent YoY to Rs 189.4 crore.

The Product Licenses segment reported profit of Rs 1,895.3 crore compared with Rs 825.9 crore in Q1 FY26, whereas the IT Solutions and Consulting Services segment generated profit of Rs 38.3 crore against Rs 54.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Leadership Changes Announced

The Board accepted the resignation of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Makarand Padalkar, who will step down at the end of July 23, 2026, while continuing with the company for a brief period to ensure a smooth transition.

The Board appointed Avadhut Ketkar, currently the Chief Financial Officer, as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a three-year term from July 24, 2026 to July 23, 2029, subject to shareholders' approval.

The company also appointed Manish Bhandari as Chief Financial Officer with effect from July 24, 2026 and approved the appointment of Andrew Mark Morawski as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director, subject to shareholders' approval. The Board also approved the reconstitution of several Board committees effective July 24, 2026.

OFSS Balance Sheet

As of June 30, 2026, OFSS reported total segment assets of Rs 9,255.7 crore compared with Rs 8,702.9 crore a year earlier, while total segment liabilities stood at Rs 2,328.4 crore against Rs 1,950.5 crore in the corresponding period last year.
