The stock witnessed strong buying interest during the session, with trading volume reaching 1.25 million shares, compared with its 30-day average volume of 121.64 thousand shares, representing an increase of more than 10 times the average daily volume.

D. P. Abhushan Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

On a standalone basis, revenue from operations increased 57.75 per cent YoY to Rs 852.40 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 540.37 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income rose 57.70 per cent YoY to Rs 853.63 crore from Rs 541.32 crore.

The company reported profit before Tax (PBT) of Rs 86.21 crore, registering a 77.42 per cent YoY increase from Rs 48.59 crore in Q1 FY26. Net profit after tax (PAT) grew 76.94 per cent YoY to Rs 64.45 crore from Rs 36.42 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Basic earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 28.23 from Rs 16.07 a year earlier.

Board Approves Retail Expansion

Alongside the Quarterly Results, the Board approved the opening of a company-owned jewellery showroom at Dahod, Gujarat, as part of the company's retail expansion strategy. The proposed showroom, located at Ambika Society, Dahod, will have an approximate retail area of 3,200 square feet and will be D. P. Abhushan's first showroom in Gujarat, marking its strategic entry into the state's retail market. The company said the showroom will enhance customer accessibility, strengthen brand recognition and offer its complete range of jewellery products. The expected date for commencement of operations is currently under finalisation. Additionally, the Board also approved the opening of a Franchise Owned Company Operated (FOCO) showroom at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
