Market Update: NIFTY IT is the best performer; these companies are scaling 52-week high

The market is currently trading in favour of advances, with the advance to decline ratio standing as 294:103.
Getting a very strong cue from the US market, Nifty 50 too opened with a gap-up. It opened at 17301.05 against the previous close of 17101.95, which means a gap up of 199.10 points. Currently, it is trading at 17315.65. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, only 3.0 are trading below their previous close while 47.0 are trading above yesterday's close. In today’s trade, there are more stocks in Nifty that are trading in favour of advances. Overall we can see that more stocks trading in green.
After falling most in the last couple of weeks, in today’s trade, the best performing index is NIFTY IT, which is up by 2.98 per cent. This is followed by NIFTY OIL & GAS, which is up by 2.19 per cent. The worst performing index currently (11:00 AM) is NIFTY PRIVATE BANK. It is down by -0.33 per cent. Out of the total 10.0 companies forming part of the index, 2.0 companies are trading in red, and 8.0 are trading in green.
