Market Update: Nifty trading in deep red; these stocks are scaling 52-week high

The market is currently trading in favour of decline, while the advance to decline ratio stands as 84:211.
Taking a negative handover from the US market, Nifty 50 opened in the red at 17768.5 against the previous close of 17925.25. Currently, it is trading at 17680.5 down by more than 200 points. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 44 are trading below their previous close and 5 are trading above their yesterday's close while one has remained unchanged. In today’s trade, more stocks are trading in favour of declines and overall as well we see that more stocks are trading in the red.
In today’s trade, the best performing index is NIFTY MEDIA, it is up by 0.36 per cent. This is followed by NIFTY SMALLCAP 100, which is down by -0.03 per cent. The worst performing index currently (11:14 AM) is NIFTY REALTY. It is down by -2.27 per cent. Out of the total 10 companies forming part of the index, 9 companies are trading in red and one is trading in green.
