1. Vardhman Textiles Ltd

Vardhman Textiles Ltd announced plans to significantly expand its shirt manufacturing capacity as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the premium apparel segment. The company currently operates with an installed production capacity of 2.20 million men’s shirts per annum, with utilisation levels at around 95 per cent. It now plans to increase the capacity to nearly 4.50 million shirts per annum by the end of FY27. The proposed expansion will involve an investment of nearly Rs 125 crore, which will be financed through internal accruals and debt.

2. PNC Infratech Ltd

PNC Infratech Ltd has emerged as the L1, or first lowest bidder, for a major infrastructure project in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The project involves the Construction of a four-lane flyover with two loops and two ramps at the Shaheed Path intersection on the right-hand-side Bank of the Gomti River. The project will be executed on an EPC basis. The company quoted a bid value of Rs 194.40 crore for the project.

3. City Union Bank Ltd  

City Union Bank Ltd may remain in focus after the Reserve Bank of India approved Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd’s proposal to acquire up to 9.99 per cent stake in the private sector lender. The approval was granted through a letter dated May 6, 2026.
