Railway Company Receives Order of Rs 58,74,500 from Ministry of Railways, Indian Railways

Dhara Rail Projects Ltd has secured a domestic work order from the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways) for the provision of high-capacity IV couplers (500 amp) and 150 sq. mm feeder cables for AC coaches. Awarded by the Office of the Chief Electrical Workshop Engineer at the Carriage Repair Workshop, Southern Railway in Perambur, Chennai, the contract is valued at Rs 58,74,500, inclusive of GST. This project, which carries a performance period of two years, involves critical electrical infrastructure upgrades for passenger rolling stock.

In a previous engagement, the company was awarded a domestic contract by the Ministry of Railways for the comprehensive annual maintenance of train lighting systems for mail and express coaches within the Mumbai Division. Issued by the Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer at Central Railway’s CSMT headquarters, the order is valued at Rs. 6,03,22,683.79 (inclusive of GST). The agreement spans a two-year period, focusing on ensuring the operational reliability of electrical infrastructure for passenger trains operating out of the Mumbai regional complex.
