Bharat Dynamics Bags Fresh Orders From HAL

Bharat Dynamics Ltd announced that it has secured fresh orders worth approximately Rs 1,347.71 crore (gross) from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The contracts are domestic in nature and will be executed over a period ranging from 24 months to 60 months, providing medium-term revenue visibility for the company.

The orders comprise Helina Launchers and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) worth Rs 1,109.37 crore (gross), along with Counter Measure Dispensing System (CMDS) LRUs valued at Rs 238.34 crore (gross). The company classified the development as a receipt of orders under applicable regulatory norms.

Strengthening Defence Manufacturing Ecosystem

The latest contracts further strengthen BDL's long-standing association with HAL and reinforce its role in supplying critical missile-related systems and defence equipment for indigenous military platforms. The inclusion of Helina launchers and associated subsystems reflects continued demand for advanced missile integration and support systems within India's defence manufacturing ecosystem.

BDL clarified that the contracts are purely domestic and do not involve any related-party transactions. The company also stated that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity.

Bharat Dynamics Order Book Crosses Rs 24,000 Crore

As of March 31, 2025, Bharat Dynamics reported an order book of approximately Rs 22,814 crore. With the addition of the newly secured Rs 1,347.71 crore orders from HAL, the company's executable order book rises to around Rs 24,162 crore, enhancing long-term revenue visibility and strengthening its project pipeline.

The healthy order backlog positions the company to benefit from India's increasing focus on defence modernisation, indigenous manufacturing and self-reliance in strategic military systems.
