The order inflow is spread across several of the company’s key engineering verticals and could support capacity utilisation at its expanded manufacturing base. The company manufactures fabricated and galvanised steel structures for renewable energy, power transmission, telecom, transport and industrial infrastructure projects.

Solar projects formed the largest component of the new order wins at Rs 115.88 crore. These contracts include fixed-tilt module mounting structures, tracker-type module mounting structures and related structure parts. Pre-engineered buildings, or PEBs, accounted for Rs 99.14 crore of orders for PEB structures.

Transmission tower-related orders stood at Rs 31.79 crore and cover material for 220 kV to 400 kV towers, 33 kV and 66 kV substation equipment structures, hardware, cable trays, galvanised iron strips and galvanised structures for isolators.

The company also received Rs 10.25 crore of orders for poles and highmasts, while the isolator segment contributed Rs 8.16 crore of orders for 220 kV, 66 kV and 33 kV isolators. The remaining Rs 7.10 crore came from rooftop solar, ladder cable trays, crash barriers for Railway tracker fencing and other products.

The latest order wins are equivalent to around 21.9 per cent of KP Green Engineering’s consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 1,245.57 crore in FY26, based on a calculation using its reported annual financials. The comparison indicates that the order package is meaningful even though it is distributed across multiple product categories rather than being a single large project.

The company had reported an Order Book of Rs 1,831 crore as of March 31, 2026, which management said was largely executable in FY27. The current announcement does not specify whether these new orders are included in that earlier order-book figure.

KP Green Engineering’s FY26 consolidated revenue rose 79.3 per cent from Rs 694.64 crore in FY25, while profit after tax increased to Rs 135.74 crore from Rs 73.49 crore. Management had attributed the earnings growth partly to operating leverage, improved product mix and the commissioning of its Matar facility.

The Matar plant became fully operational during FY26, taking the company’s stated fabrication and galvanising capacity to 4,00,500 metric tonnes per annum. However, management had indicated that overall utilisation during FY26 was only about 30 per cent to 34 per cent, with an expectation of moving towards 50 per cent to 60 per cent in FY27. The fresh orders could therefore help the company improve utilisation, although conversion into revenue will depend on manufacturing schedules, project execution and customer deliveries.

The broad mix of new orders is also in line with the company’s stated strategy of reducing dependence on any one infrastructure category. Solar mounting structures and PEBs together account for nearly 79 per cent of the latest order value, while transmission and substation products add exposure to power-sector spending.

As of 10:01 a.m. on October 12, 2026, KP Green Engineering shares were trading at Rs 278.80, up 3.53 per cent from the previous close of Rs 269.30. The stock was about 55.0 per cent below its 52-week high of Rs 619.20 and around 11.7 per cent above its 52-week low of Rs 249.60.

Over the preceding year, the shares had declined 47.37 per cent, compared with a 6.29 per cent decline in the BSE 500, indicating an underperformance of about 41.08 percentage points. The company’s ability to execute its order book, improve capacity utilisation and manage working-capital requirements will remain important factors for investors tracking the next phase of growth.
