The stock has already delivered a strong run this year. According to market data reported on Monday, Aeroflex Industries was up 204.55 per cent in 2026 as of the latest update, while its market capitalisation stood at around Rs 7,715 crore.

Expansion Plans Take Centre Stage

The immediate trigger for Monday's buying was the company's announcement of a board meeting on Wednesday, October 14, at 10:30 am.

The board will consider and approve the company's expansion plans, including further capacity enhancements. However, the company has not yet disclosed the size of the proposed investment, the specific facilities involved or the products for which additional capacity may be created.

That leaves the upcoming meeting as an important event for investors looking for clarity on where the company plans to deploy its next round of capital.

The company has already been expanding capacity across several product lines. This includes stainless-steel flexible hoses, assemblies and fittings, liquid cooling skid assemblies and miniature metal bellows. Its earlier expansion plans also included automation through robotic welding lines, automatic welding stations and an annealing plant.

Data Centre Cooling Is Emerging as a Growth Driver

One of the more closely watched parts of Aeroflex's business is its liquid cooling solutions for data centres.

Aeroflex supplies Secondary Fluid Network, or SFN, solutions used in liquid-cooled data centre infrastructure. Its portfolio includes skid assemblies, flexible hoses and metal bellows designed for applications involving coolant distribution and thermal management.

The business has grown rapidly. During Q1 FY27, SFN skid assemblies generated around Rs 32.4 crore of revenue, accounting for roughly 23 per cent of total quarterly revenue. The company sold 1,040 skids during the quarter.

Aeroflex had increased its skid assembly capacity from 6,000 units to 9,000 units per annum and has been working towards taking capacity to 15,000 units per annum. The company had also planned to increase stainless-steel flexible hose capacity from 17.5 million metres to 20 million metres per annum.

The expansion is closely linked to growing demand from data centres and AI infrastructure, where higher computing density is increasing the need for liquid-based cooling systems.

Strong Q1 Performance Adds to Investor Interest

The company's recent financial performance has also contributed to the positive sentiment around the stock.

For Q1 FY27, consolidated revenue stood at Rs 145.38 crore, up 72.4 per cent year-on-year from Rs 84.33 crore. Consolidated net profit increased 162.1 per cent year-on-year to Rs 18.79 crore, compared with Rs 7.17 crore in the corresponding quarter. Operating profit rose to Rs 33.50 crore from Rs 15.48 crore.

The company also reported an EBITDA margin of around 23 per cent during the quarter, compared with around 18.7 per cent a year earlier. The improvement came alongside strong growth in the core flexible hose business and the rapid scale-up of its liquid cooling skid business.

Exports also remained an important part of the business. Management said exports grew 43 per cent year-on-year in Q1 FY27, while stronger domestic sales were supported partly by the rapid increase in liquid cooling solution supplies.

FY27 Growth Outlook in Focus

Aeroflex had entered FY27 with an expectation of around 35 per cent revenue growth, supported by new capacity and the expansion of its skid assembly business. Management had indicated that the base business, excluding skid assemblies and bellows, could grow in the range of 15 per cent to 20 per cent.

In September, Managing Director Asad Daud said the company was on track to achieve and potentially exceed its 35 per cent revenue-growth guidance for FY27. He also indicated that the company could revisit the guidance after the second quarter.

This makes the October 14 board meeting particularly relevant. If the company announces another meaningful capacity addition, investors will look at how it fits into the existing growth plans and whether it is aimed at areas such as liquid cooling, flexible hoses or other value-added products.
