The reported purchase transactions collectively amounted to 25 lakh shares, translating into a total transaction value of approximately Rs 2,896.25 crore at the reported average price.

Among the prominent buyers, HDFC Mutual Fund purchased 12,94,777 shares, valued at approximately Rs 150.03 crore. ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund acquired 3,45,274 shares, worth around Rs 40.00 crore, while National Pension Insurance Fund purchased 1,56,828 shares, valued at approximately Rs 18.18 crore.

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund purchased 1,55,373 shares worth around Rs 18.00 crore, while DSP India Absolute Return Fund acquired 86,318 shares valued at approximately Rs 10.00 crore. WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund purchased 77,686 shares worth around Rs 9.00 crore, and JP Morgan Fund ICVC acquired 65,896 shares valued at approximately Rs 7.63 crore.

Other institutional buyers included Eastspring Investments Asian Low Volatility Equity Fund, Tata Mutual Fund, Axis Mutual Fund, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, Baroda Mutual Fund, Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Company and Norges Bank on Account of the Government Pension Fund Global.

Pilani Investment Reports Large Share Sale

On the selling side, Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation Limited was reported as the seller across the bulk and block transactions.

The data shows a bulk sale of 25 lakh shares at Rs 11,585 per share, translating into a transaction value of approximately Rs 2,896.25 crore. In addition, multiple block transactions aggregating another 25 lakh shares were reported at the same price.

Taking both the bulk and block transactions together, the reported sales by Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation amounted to 50 lakh shares, with an aggregate transaction value of approximately Rs 5,792.50 crore at the reported price.

UltraTech Cement Shareholding Pattern

UltraTech Cement's shareholding pattern for June 2026 shows that promoter holding stood at 59.33 per cent, unchanged from March 2026. Foreign Institutional Investors' holding declined from 13.61 per cent in March 2026 to 12.36 per cent in June 2026, while Domestic Institutional Investors increased their holding from 18.42 per cent to 19.69 per cent during the same period.

Public shareholding stood at 8.42 per cent in June 2026, compared with 8.41 per cent in March 2026. The total number of shareholders increased to 4,16,693 in June 2026 from 4,09,350 in March 2026.
