Rs 846 Crore Order Book: This Small-Cap Construction Company Secures Rs 54.72 Crore Work Order for Five-Star Hotel in Gandhinagar

On Wednesday, Indian equity benchmark indices traded lower, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index falling 37.15 points, or 0.15 per cent, to 24,297.40. Amid the market movement, Chavda Infra share price rose 1.45 per cent to Rs 140, gaining Rs 2 per share after the company announced that it had secured a new work order worth Rs 54.72 crore, excluding GST.

Chavda Infra Secures Rs 54.72 Crore Order

Chavda Infra has successfully bagged a work order from Weisdom Design Build LLP for the Construction of the core and shell of a proposed residential and commercial building, including a five-star hotel, at Kudasan, Gandhinagar.

The total order value is estimated at Rs 54.72 crore, excluding GST, and the project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months. The company received the order in the ordinary course of business.

Scope Includes 20 Floors and Three Basements

According to the filing, the scope of work covers the construction of the core and shell across multiple levels. The project includes three basements, a ground floor, plinth, first to 20th floors and terrace slab, along with overhead water tanks, lift rooms, underground tanks, retaining walls, sumps and lift areas.

The order was awarded by a domestic entity and is expected to be executed over a period of 24 months.

FY27 Orders Reach Rs 144.17 Crore

With the addition of the latest order, Chavda Infra stated that it has received orders worth Rs 144.17 crore during the current financial year.

More significantly, the company's unexecuted Order Book currently stands at nearly Rs 846.92 crore, providing visibility for future execution.

The latest order was bagged on August 25, 2026, at 2:36 p.m., according to the company's regulatory disclosure.

No Related-Party Transaction

Chavda Infra has confirmed that its promoter, promoter group and group companies have no interest in Weisdom Design Build LLP, the entity awarding the contract.

The company has also stated that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.
