RVNL Emerges L1 Bidder For Rs 221,33,11,931.64 Railway Project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited informed exchanges that it has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from South East Central Railway for a railway signalling and infrastructure project worth Rs 221,33,11,931.64.

The project involves replacement of panel interlocking with electronic interlocking systems, installation of indoor and outdoor signalling gears, OFC huts, Construction and electrification of S&T service buildings along with cabling works across multiple stations under the Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway.

According to the filing, the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is to be executed within 730 days. The company also clarified that the contract falls under the normal course of business and does not involve related party transactions.

RVNL Shareholding Pattern

As per the latest March 2026 shareholding pattern, promoters held 72.84 per cent stake in RVNL. Domestic Institutional Investors held 6.42 per cent stake in the company, while Foreign Institutional Investors owned 4.86 per cent stake. Public shareholding stood at 15.87 per cent during the quarter.

Compared to the December 2025 quarter, DII shareholding increased from 6.37 per cent to 6.42 per cent, while FII holding declined marginally from 4.97 per cent to 4.86 per cent. Promoter holding remained unchanged at 72.84 per cent.
