Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.39 per cent at 82,571 and the Nifty-50 up 0.45 per cent at 25,196. About 2,576 shares have advanced, 1,478 shares have declined and 161 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.83 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.95 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd, Patanjali Foods Ltd, Petronet LNG Ltd and Tata Elxsi Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Jayaswal Neco Industries Ltd, Swan Energy Ltd, Swaraj Engines Ltd and Sterlite Technologies Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Auto Index and BSE Healthcare Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Losers.

As of July 15, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 460 lakh crore or USD 5.36 trillion. On the same day, 150 stocks hit a 52-week high while 36 stocks touched a 52-week low.
