Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.55 per cent at 81,338 and the Nifty-50 up 0.57 per cent at 24,821. About 2,482 shares have advanced, 1,521 shares have declined and 154 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.84 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.10 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Abbott India Ltd, Go Digit General Insurance Ltd, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Coromandel International Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Navkar Corporation Ltd, IIFL Capital Services Ltd, Apar Industries Ltd and Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE Commodities Index, BSE Energy Index, BSE Healthcare Index, BSE Industrials Index, BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Realty Index, gaining over 1 per cent each.

As of July 29, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 452 lakh crore or USD 5.20 trillion. On the same day, 111 stocks hit a 52-week high while 68 stocks touched a 52-week low.
