Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.51 per cent at 80,568 and the Nifty-50 up 0.55 per cent at 24,715. About 2,624 shares have advanced, 1,484 shares have declined and 162 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.63 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.90 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Ola Electric Mobility Ltd, Steel Authority of India Ltd, Inventurus Knowledge Solutions Ltd and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Jai Corp Ltd, Hemisphere Properties India Ltd, TBO Tek Ltd and Delta Corp Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Commodities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 03, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 453 lakh crore or USD 5.14 trillion. On the same day, 126 stocks hit a 52-week high while 64 stocks touched a 52-week low.
