Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in mixed on Friday with the Sensex down 0.01 per cent at 80,711 and the Nifty-50 up 0.08 per cent at 24,734. About 2,134 shares have advanced, 1,957 shares have declined and 169 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.10 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.09 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Brainbees Solutions Ltd, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Clean Science & Technology Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Netweb Technologies India Ltd, Sunteck Realty Ltd, Shalby Ltd and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Discretionary Index and BSE Bankex Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 04, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 452 lakh crore or USD 5.11 trillion. On the same day, 135 stocks hit a 52-week high while 64 stocks touched a 52-week low.
