Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.09 per cent at 80,787 and the Nifty-50 up 0.13 per cent at 24,773. About 2,288 shares have advanced, 1,937 shares have declined and 182 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.33 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.30 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Bharat Forge Ltd, Ashok Leyland Ltd, Exide Industries Ltd and Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Precision Camshafts Ltd, IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Stylam Industries Ltd and One Mobikwik Systems Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Discretionary Index and BSE Auto Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 08, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 453 lakh crore or USD 5.13 trillion. On the same day, 168 stocks hit a 52-week high while 69 stocks touched a 52-week low.
