Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.40 per cent at 81,425 and the Nifty-50 up 0.42 per cent at 24,973. About 2,417 shares have advanced, 1,707 shares have declined and 158 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.84 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.72 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd, Persistent Systems Ltd, Tata Elxsi Ltd and Premier Energies Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Faze Three Ltd, Indo Count Industries Ltd, Avanti Feeds Ltd and GPT Infraprojects Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Consumer Discretionary Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 10, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 457 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 118 stocks hit a 52-week high while 161 stocks touched a 52-week low.
