Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.56 per cent at 82,160 and the Nifty-50 down 0.49 per cent at 25,202. About 1,775 shares have advanced, 2,511 shares have declined and 169 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.78 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.71 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were AWL Agri Business Ltd, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO), Vedant Fashions Ltd and Muthoot Finance Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd, John Cockerill India Ltd, Om Infra Ltd and Integrated Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 22, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 465 lakh crore or USD 5.28 trillion. On the same day, 210 stocks hit a 52-week high while 66 stocks touched a 52-week low.
